Houston Zoo

Well, you don’t have to be a kid to visit here, but yes, children have the most fun when it comes to frolicking around this 55-acre home to more than 900 species of animals! So it is not a surprise that Houston Zoo is the second most visited zoo in the country! You can go from the primate section to the lion exhibit to the super-large elephant exhibit to the Texas wetlands within a single day!

First things first! They are selling season passes for 2022 on their website already! So, before you go and grab your share, know that this place is heaven for adrenaline seekers. However, those who would like a more sober time can navigate through a lazy river in the Park. Zip lining, a Water Coaster ride, and much more awaits you at Schlitterbahn Water Park.

Moody Gardens

True to its name, the Moody Garden is the perfect space to set your mood right and allow kids to enjoy their time inside a thoughtfully designed entertainment hub. It features a vast aquarium, botanical garden, theaters, pools, and playgrounds. In addition, the 13-story Rainforest Pyramid is an ideal place to teach kids about flora and fauna found throughout Africa and Asia.

Old MacDonald’s Farm

This place is right out of the poem, complete with fun activities like mini-train rides, visit pumpkin patches, petting zoo, slides, and pony rides.
